Since opening in 1923, Corbin Residence Hall remains the only all-girls dorm at the University of Kansas. The University of Kansas chose McCownGordon through a qualifications-based selection process to lead the extensive renovation bringing the hall into the 21st century.

This historic renovation updated the main entrance, all student rooms, restrooms, other public spaces, mechanical, plumbing and electrical systems.

Corbin Hall’s variety of room and sink configurations remain intact to maintain its historical significance.
