In collaboration with Hoefer Wysocki, McCownGordon completed the Blue Springs Multispecialty Clinic, a two-story building sitting on eight acres that includes a variety of medical services including laboratories, MRI, CT, X-ray, ultrasound, mammography and other outpatient clinics including orthopedics, cardiology and primary care.

The team also delivered the Mission Farms Multispecialty Clinic in collaboration with Colliers International and Hoefer Wysocki. The three-story medical office building features a Class-A entry and lobby space with high-end finishes. Overall, the build-out houses more than 70 exam rooms, three procedure rooms and x-ray, and ultrasound/CT spaces in addition to the support areas required for medical facilities.

The 5th floor of the hospital at Saint Luke’s East houses the Gastroenterology unit and the Oncology & Appearance Center. The Oncology & Appearance Center includes a chemo room, anteroom, infusion bays, exam rooms and nurse stations. Interior finishes included Vivigraphics (specially laminated glass featuring custom designs), glass tile, metal casework, quartz tops, solid surface tops, architectural storefront system and laminate clad doors.

The Gastroenterology unit features eight patient exam rooms and supporting areas of conference rooms, staff lounge, offices and patient waiting area. Interior finishes include porcelain tile, vinyl wall covering, luxury vinyl tile, solid surface tops, laminate casework, rubber chair rail and stained red oak doors.

The Surgicenter addition at Saint Luke’s East features a two-story concrete structure, a single-story steel structure, brick and cast stone veneer and a curtain wall entry vestibule. In order to allow space for the new addition, the team performed demolition of the existing building façade. Also, site utilities were relocated to move out from under the new addition’s footprint. MEP work in the existing utility tunnel brings services to the new space.
