Manhattan’s Flint Hills Discovery Center inspires people to celebrate, explore and care for the Flint Hills, a historic band of hills in eastern Kansas created approximately 250 million years ago. The project includes site development for the facility as well as an outdoor park and exhibit areas.

The iconic building includes a lobby, museum store, cafe, core exhibit areas, flexible temporary exhibit areas, an immersive 4d theater, community rooms and exhibit support areas.

The facility’s cylindrical glass tower includes a glass elevator, which transports the guests to the observation mezzanine providing a 360-degree view of the prairie and the City of Manhattan.
